One Kick Gas Pub Crawl in Ocean Beach!
Mark your calendars for the best Sunday Funday ever!
This Sunday, October 11, 2009, marks a pre-party event for the West Coast's Largest Eco Party: The Official Kick Gas Pub Crawl! Taking over the towns of Hillcrest and Ocean Beach, the Kick Gas Festival is hosting two simultaneous pub crawls for one Kick Gas day! Starting at 2:00 p.m., OB Pub Crawl participants will begin at the infamous Pac Shores and will continue to crawl down Newport Avenue to Winston's where the pub crawl will wrap up the days festivities. The crawl will stop at each bar for approximately 1-hour, enjoy kick gas drink specials and be lead by 7 non-drinking coordinators to ensure the fun keeps going, responsibly! At the final destination, Winton's, crawlers will be met by Ocean Beach Surf and Skate to enjoy free raffles, win great prizes and groove to live musical performances. Since no one wants to be the DD at a pub crawl and because parking is a pain, the Kick Gas Festival encourages fellow crawlers to check out http://www.sdmts.com/tripplanner.asp to plan their transportation for the day. The two pub crawl schedules are:
OB Pub Crawl
2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.: Pac Shores
3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.: Harp
4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.: Sunshine Company
5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.: Winston's Beach Club
Hillcrest Pub Crawl
2:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.: Number #1 on 5th
3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.: Urban Mo's
4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.: Fiesta Cantina
5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.: Brass Rail
As the Kick Gas Festival says: "fun will be provided, paper bags will not; please drink responsibly!" To sign-up for the pub crawl or for more information, please email nvilla@kickgasfestival.com.
