Join Ocean Beach Surf and Skate for the Point Loma showing of Jamie O’Brien’s latest film, Who is J.O.B. at The Pearl Hotel. The Surf on the Silver Screen event will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the premier beginning at 8:00 p.m.

Held on the Last Tuesday, every month, Surf on the Silver Screen features the latest surf films, killer food and drink specials including a gourmet burger and beer combo, Red Bull drink specials, as well as a raffle with great prizes from Ocean Beach Surf and Skate, Ocean Experience Surf School, The Pearl Hotel, Red Bull and other event sponsors.

After spending 2 years filming, Who is J.O.B. showcases some of the best surfing this year while taking viewers deep into the personal life of Jamie O’Brien. In additional to the killer surfing, O’Brien’s personal touch makes this film a truly memorable, surfing documentary.

What better way to spend a Tuesday night then with at The Pearl Hotel for Surf on the Silver Screen movie nights hosted by Ocean Beach Surf and Skate? Held on the last Tuesday of each month from 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., this fun event will feature the latest surf flicks projected onto a huge outdoor screen, as well as free raffles, gourmet burger and beer specials, $3 Coronas and tons of fun!

Directed by award winning, Josh Landan, The Union Express follows former ASP World Championship Tour competitor, Timmy Curran as he rides the infamous Amtrak up and down the California coast. On his journey, Curran stops at major surf spots along the way, meeting up to surf with friends including Dane Reynolds, Taylor Knox, Rob Machado, Damien Hobgood and Cory Lopez.

Drive Thru movie night at The Pearl!

Join Ocean Beach Surf and Skate as we travel down unda and surf with the Kiwi's at this months Surf on the Silver Screen. Held on March 30, 2010 at The Pearl Hotel, this month's movie night will double feature two of the best Drive Thru surf films from the series: Drive Thru Australia II and Drive Thru New Zealand.

SPECIAL SURPISE at Surf on the Silver Screen tomorrow night!

Take advantage of these warm October nights at this Month’s Surf on the Silver screen this Tuesday, October located at The Pearl Hotel from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and enjoy a special treat! Ocean Beach Surf and Skate will be showing a surprise screening of the brand new Billabong surf movie: Still Filthy! As a sequel to one of the most ground-breaking surf films, Filthy Habits and winner of  “Movie of the Year” at the Surfer Magazine Surfer Poll awards, Still Filthy is one surf flick you’ll definitely want to see on the Silver Screen. To top this great movie night off, The Pearl Hotel will be serving Burger and Beer combos all night long. For only $15, guests can choose from a wide variety of local, domestic and imported beers served along side the mouth watering “house ground Meyer Ranch Chuck Burger” filled with caramelized onions, lamilpa lettuce, pickles, smoked Gouda and a side of fries. That’s not all though!
