Deck the Halls of Newport Avenue with Ocean Beach Surf and Skate at the 6th Annual Holiday Skate Jam on December 4, 2010. Located at the 31st Annual Ocean Beach Holiday Parade and Kids Fun Zone in the OB Pier Parking Lot, the Holiday Skate Jam will feature open skate sessions, a best trick contest and game of skate, as well as amazing prizes from Sector 9, Habitat, Alien Workshop, Dizm Eyewear, Aerial7, Zooyork, PIG Wheels, Toy Machine, Foundation, ERGO, Koastal Skateboards and many more!
The Jam will run from 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. but will be closed during the parade from 5:05 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Registration is open to all ages and abilities and is 100% FREE, so stop by Ocean Beach Surf and Skate and fill out an entry form today! Same-day sign ups are also available, but be sure to get there early because registration will close at 11:00 a.m.

Join us before the Ocean Beach Holiday Parade for an exclusive childrens book reading and signing as well as refreshments and h'ourderves at Ocean Beach Surf and Skate on Saturday, December 5, 2009. From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Children's author Jeffrey Garcia will be showcasing his latest title, Santa Claus and the Molokai Mules: A Hawaiian Island Surfing Adventure. Garcia's book is a magical story of a young surfer living on Molokai Island, Hawaii and is filled with family relationships, values and hawaiian culture.

30th Annual OB Holiday Parade!

Get in the Holiday spirit this Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Ocean Beach Holiday Parade! The days festivities include the Kids Fun Zone located in the OB Pier Parking lot, featuring live music from The Blonde Brothers, Ocean Beach Surf and Skate Holiday Skate Jam and Contest, boxing demos, food, vendor booths and much more! The Kids Fun Zone will be held from7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and at 5:05 p.m. "OB Time", the 30th Annual OB Holiday Parade will kick off. The parade route covers the 4800 - 5000 blocks of Newport Avenue. Come early to stake your spots because this is one crowded night in OB. Hope to see you all there!
