Ocean Beach Surf & Skate Turkey Bowl and Parking Lot Sale

Ocean Beach Surf & Skate would like to give thanks to you this Thanksgiving! Gobble up great savings and grub at the OBSS Turkey Bowl and Parking Lot Sale on Sunday, November 29, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. This surf and skate expo will feature exclusive sale booths from various Ocean Beach Surf & Skate vendors including ERGO, World Industries, Splaff, Seedless and many more, as well as great grub grilled to perfection by OB locals. Festival goers will also groove to great tunes from talented artists such as the incredibly talented and young, The Blonde Brothers, rock band Border Town Bust and the indie/roots bands, Field Trip and Drout. That's  not all though; Ocean Beach Surf & Skate will also have a full ramp set-up and open skate sessions through out the day with live demos from World Industries skate team. Black Friday doesn’t have anything on this blow-out, parking lot sale! Stop by for a fun day stuffed full with exclusive savings, great music, skateboard demos and tasty treats!

Professional Longboard Championships this Weekend!

Check out the most talented men and women longboarders hang ten this weekend at the 2009 Professional Longboard Assciation Pro Championships! Held at the Oceanside Pier on Saturday, November 14th through Sunday, November 15th, this will be the final event of the five stop PLA tour and they will be naming the PLA Pro Tour winner on Sunday. Also included in this two-day event will be the PLA Surf Expo, featuring food, vendor booths and stages with great live performances from talented San Diego Bands. That's not all though! In conjunction with the PLA Pro Championships will be the 5 mile, stand up paddle board race, held on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Don't miss this opportunity to witness the final days of this huge longboard championship and stop by the Ocean Beach Surf and Skate and Ocean Experience booth for some free swag and Indo Board fun! The PLA Expo will be open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

SPECIAL SURPISE at Surf on the Silver Screen tomorrow night!

Take advantage of these warm October nights at this Month’s Surf on the Silver screen this Tuesday, October located at The Pearl Hotel from 8:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and enjoy a special treat! Ocean Beach Surf and Skate will be showing a surprise screening of the brand new Billabong surf movie: Still Filthy! As a sequel to one of the most ground-breaking surf films, Filthy Habits and winner of  “Movie of the Year” at the Surfer Magazine Surfer Poll awards, Still Filthy is one surf flick you’ll definitely want to see on the Silver Screen. To top this great movie night off, The Pearl Hotel will be serving Burger and Beer combos all night long. For only $15, guests can choose from a wide variety of local, domestic and imported beers served along side the mouth watering “house ground Meyer Ranch Chuck Burger” filled with caramelized onions, lamilpa lettuce, pickles, smoked Gouda and a side of fries. That’s not all though! As originally scheduled, Dude Cruise will air after the showing of Still Filthy for those who’d like to stick around to catch another flick and there will be free raffles complements of Ocean Beach Surf and Skate, Ocean Experience Surf School and The Pearl Hotel.
